1989-90Christopher Norris was born on October 7, 1953 in New York City to Broadway musical conductor Arthur Norris and actress/singer Grace Olsen. She began acting at age three playing the Ivory Soap baby in commercials. She then played four different Von Trapp daughters on Broadway in The Sound of Music over a period of seven years. Christopher is familiar to television audiences as nurse Gloria "Ripples" Brancusi on the series Trapper John, M.D. She made guest starring appearances on The Love Boat, Murder, She Wrote, Mike Hammer, Matlock, Hotel and Diagnosis Murder among others. Her movie credits include Summer of '42, Airport 1975 and Eat My Dust. Daytime audiences will remember Christopher for her portrayal of teenager Sarah Capice on The Edge of Night and her brief stint on The Doctors. In later years, she appeared on the soap operas Santa Barbara, Guiding Light and Another World. In the 1990s, Christopher got a degree in psychology. More recently, she took a break from acting and got a real estate licence. |
