Gina Capwell, 1985-93

A native of Los Angeles, Robin Mattson started acting at the age of six. Her early career included guest appearances on The John Forsythe Show and Daniel Boone. She made her feature film debut starring in Namu, The Killer Whale for legendary producer Ivan Tors. As a child actress, she was placed under contract by Tors and went on to appear in Gentle Ben, Flipper and Island of the Lost.

Robin has also appeared in the feature films Return to Macon County opposite Nick Nolte, Wolf Lake with Rod Steiger, Take Two with Grant Goodeve and In and Out with Sam Bottoms. Her primetime television credits include the telefilms Doctors' Private Lives, Are You in the House Alone?, Mirror Mirror, Fantasies and False Witness, and she has made numerous guest-starring appearances on such series as Happy Days, Barnaby Jones, Charlie's Angels, The Dukes of Hazzard, Fantasy Island, Silk Stalkings and Law & Order.

Robin is a soap opera veteran, having played Hope Bauer on Guiding Light, Heather Webber on General Hospital, Delia Ryan on Ryan's Hope, Gina Capwell on Santa Barbara, Janet Green on All My Children, Sugar on The Bold and the Beautiful, Cheri Love on As the World Turns and Lee on Days of Our Lives. Her performances in daytime television have garnered her four Emmy Award nominations and three Soap Opera Digest Awards.

After Santa Barbara was canceled in 1993, Robin pursued her lifelong passion for cooking by enrolling at the Los Angeles International Culinary Institute. She subsequently wrote her own cookbook, Soap Opera Café, and had her own cooking show on the Lifetime network called The Main Ingredient

Robin has been married to former soccer player Werner Roth since 2006. Her birthdate is June 1, 1956.
