Kimberly McArthur appeared on Santa Barbara as Kelly Capwell, replacing actress Robin Wright who originated the role. "I love playing Kelly," Kimberly said. "She is mature and direct but has had a lot of ups and downs in the past. I would like to see her get a sense of humor."

Career
Kimberly starred in the feature film Don't Let Go and also played a leading role as Joanie Esposito in the mini-series Elvis and Me. She has guest starred in several television dramas including the television motion picture Case Closed and in the episodic dramas Magnum P.I. and Highway to Heaven. She toured with Playboy Productions' Girls of Rock 'n Roll, appearing in both Monte Carlo and Las Vegas, and played a lead role in the music video to Mel Tillis' A Cowboy Dream. Kimberly received her theater training from Bob Carnegie and vocal coaching under Evelyn Joan Halus. She was seen in several television commercials, including AT&T, Merrill Lynch and Kleenex.

Fun fact
When Kimberly arrived at the Santa Barbara studio gate to audition, the security guard mistook her for Robin Wright, her predecessor in the role of Kelly.
