LENORE KASDORF
Caroline Wilson, 1986-87

Lenore Kasdorf was born on July 27, 1948 in Queens, New York to an Army officer father. She traveled with her family to army bases around the U.S. and in Germany and Thailand. She attended Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana. In 1975, she moved to New York to take on the role of Rita Stapleton Bauer on the soap opera Guiding Light, a role she held for five years.

In Los Angeles, Lenore appeared in many nighttime TV series, including Airwolf, Murder, She Wrote, The A-Team and Moonlighting. She had a recurring role on the sitcom Coach. She also had featured roles in the films Missing in Action, Where Does It Hurt? and Starship Troopers.

Though Lenore briefly apeared on Days of Our Lives after leaving Guiding Light, she had mixed emotions about returning to a soap opera until the role of Caroline Wilson on Santa Barbara came up. Her decision to accept this role stemmed from her past association with SB's creators, Jerome and Bridget Dobson, who had also created the role of Rita on GL.

Since leaving SB, Lenore has suffered paralysis as result of an opportunistic infection which manifested in her spine. Proving herself a survivor, she overcame both the infection and her paralysis.

Lenore is divorced from actor Phil Peters. Their daughter, Vanessa, was born in 1980.
