1985-87; 1989 Gina Gallego was born and raised in Los Angeles, where her father was a landscaper. She was encouraged by her dad to become an actress, and supported herself as a bookkeeper while going to acting classes. Gina's first major role came when she was cast as Alicia Sanchez on the television series Flamingo Road. She then played Diandra Santiago on the syndicated soap Rituals. Her other television credits include Hill Street Blues, Airwolf, Generations, The Bold and the Beautiful, Days of Our Lives and memorable roles on Seinfeld and Grey's Anatomy. Gina has also appeared in such films as The Champ, Lust in the Dust, The Men's Club, My Demon Lover, Erin Brockovich, Mr. Deeds, Anger Management and Beverly Hills Chihuahua. Gina's birthdate is November 30, 1959. She's married to actor Joel Bailey, who played Lindsay Smith on Santa Barbara. They have one son together, Brendan. |
