MAY
7, 1987 (Ep.
#704)
When Cruz
almost falls off
the roof, he pulls
himself to safety
with Lucy's help.
Everyone breathes
a sigh of relief. Cruz
convinces Lucy
that it's better
to be alive than
dead.
Nevertheless,
he continues to
mourn Eden,
refuses to go back
to work and puts
his house up for
sale. Unbeknownst
to Cruz, the
mysterious woman
is keeping tabs on
him. She takes a
picture of him on the roof and
watches
him when he's
drunk on the
beach.
Mason
tries to assure
Tori that he
didn't marry her
for the
inheritance. Tori
remains leery,
even when Mason
reveals that he
didn't take his
father's money to
marry her. Later,
a distraught Mason
ends up at the
beach with Cruz.
They're both drunk,
and Mason almost
tells Cruz that
he's the father of
Tori's
baby. When Mason
stumbles home, the
door is locked and
Tori refuses to
let him in.
Certain
that Mason conned
him out of two
million dollars,
C.C. is caught
off-guard by Tori's
revelation that
her baby is a boy
and will therefore
inherit the
Capwell money. C.C.
wants to protect
his dynasty by
telling Cruz that
the baby is his,
but Sophia is
adamant in her
refusal. Later, the two
are stunned when
they're told that
Eden left a will.
Eden
discovers she's
believed dead when
Cain shows her the
newspaper. He gives
her the
opportunity to
stay with him
until she's
walking, and
upsets her by
burning the
newspaper. Afraid
of being a burden
to Cruz if she
goes back, Eden
spends her time
thinking and
dreaming about him
as well as the
unknown woman.
Ted
and Hayley take
care of Lucy at
the guesthouse
and grow closer.
Furthermore,
C.C. apologizes
to Ted for his
behavior after
Hayley's rape.

9, 1987 (Ep. #705)
Cruz
returns home
from his night
on the beach and
informs Julia
that he's
leaving town.
Although he's
invited to the
reading of
Eden's will, he
refuses to be
part of the
event and can't
get himself to
care about his
life. Meanwhile,
Lucy freaks out
when she
receives a call
from her rapist
and later sees
him at the
clinic. She
confides to Cruz
and the others that she was
raped by her
professor,
William Addison,
whom she
believed to be
in jail until
now. After being
the only one to
hear
Addison's voice
at the
guesthouse, Lucy
begs Cruz to
stay in town and
help her.
Kelly
and Jeffrey
continue having
problems because
of his belief
that Mason
ignored Pamela's
letters. At the
urging of
Nikolas, Mason
breaks into his
father's desk to
find the missing
letters. He discovers
correspondences
from Pamela,
filed according
to year, but the
ones from 1986
are missing!
Realizing that
C.C. burned them,
Mason tells
Jeffrey the news
and asks him and
Nikolas to help
him destroy C.C.
financially.
Both men are
willing. Jeffrey
tells Kelly that
he buried the
hatchet with
Mason and she's
thrilled, not
knowing he's now
after her father.
As
Mason recovers
from being
locked out, he
and Tori get
into another
argument that
prompts her to
threaten with
divorce. Wanting
to know the
details of
Eden's will,
C.C. learns that
she went to
Mason and
Julia's law firm.
He confronts
them both, but
they deny any
involvement.
When Julia
mentions the
will to Tori,
she overreacts
and thinks she's
talking about
her baby's
inheritance.
They get it
straightened out
before long.
Later, Mason and
Julia share a
moment when they
feel the baby
kick for the
first time.

Mason
and Julia make a
connection when
they feel their
baby kick, but
Julia convinces
Mason to work
things out with
his wife.
Jeffrey feels
guilty when
Kelly wants to
celebrate his
acceptance of
Mason as his

Although he
briefly has
second thoughts
about Mason's

setback, Jeffrey
participates in
the reading of
Eden's will
while Mason pushes him
as a family
member.
After
Lucy tells Cruz
about her
stalker, Addison
scares her at
the guesthouse.
Unfortunately,
Hayley doesn't
see him. At the same
time, a
recording of
Addison's voice
in his hotel
room provides
him with a fake
alibi. Although
the bellboy
confirms
Addison's story,
Cruz doesn't buy
it and
gives Addison a
warning.
Meanwhile, Ted
tries to
convince a
reluctant Cruz
to participate
in the reading
of Eden's will.
Although Cruz
learns that Eden
left everything
to him, he
doesn't want it
and tells the
Capwells he's
leaving town.
Sophia urges him
to take the
bequest from the
will and go on
living. While
Cruz is gone,
the unknown
woman sneaks
into his house.
Although
Eden remembers
the woman who
tried to kill
her, Cain
refuses to get
the police. He
urges Eden to
concentrate on
getting back on
her feet, and
reveals that he
once got
paralyzed during
his time in
Vietnam. When
Eden gives up
trying, Cain
gives her a
break by giving
her a bath.

Keith
defends himself
when Brick
threatens to sue
him for false
arrest. Having
been assigned to
interview Keith,
Jane reluctantly
agrees to have
dinner with him.
Brick and Pearl
have a little
fun with him,
and Pearl even pours
champagne and
food over Keith to
stop him from
making moves on
Jane.
Back
in town, Gina visits
Dr. Nikolas at
his lab and
hears Jeffrey
talking about a takeover
of a
pharmaceutical
company. Unaware
of their plan to
hurt C.C.
financially,
Gina tells Keith
what she heard
and he urges her
to get more
information. She
tries and shares
a kiss with
Nikolas at
Johnny's at the
same time Keith
and Jane are
there.
Meanwhile, Kelly
and Jeffrey grow
closer and he encourages her
to be the model
for their
campaign. They
also share kisses and
have Chinese
food.
Looking
for a quick sale
of his house,
Cruz gets
depressed when
the real estate
agent comes upon
Eden's scarf.
Then, having received
a threat from
her stalker,
Lucy begs Cruz to stop
him. With
Keith refusing
to cooperate,
Cruz tries to
get information
about Addison by
visiting the
prison where he
used to be an
inmate. When Lucy gets a
threatening call
from Addison,
Cruz takes her
back to the
Capwell house
for her own
safety. Before
long, his
depression gets
the better of
him. While Cruz
is sleeping,
Addison sneaks
into his house
and tries
to get him off
his trail by
spiking his
glass of
tequila, as well
as the bottle.
When Cruz wakes
up, he comes
close to
drinking it.
Lionel
confides to Jane
that he plans to take

ends up not
asking her,
however, when he
learns she's
going to New
York. After Jane
tells Caroline about the
Guatemala trip,
she surprises
Lionel by
joining him on
the plane.
