Julia Campbell

Julia Campbell appeared on Santa Barbara as Courtney Capwell, a young Eastern cousin in the rich and powerful Capwell clan who came to town with her sister, Madeline Capwell Laurent (Terry Davis), who was subsequently murdered. She portrayed the role from March to December 1986.

A native of Alabama, Campbell received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in theatre from Webster University in St. Louis, MO. In 1983 she won the Irene Ryan Award for Best Actress at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. She came to Santa Barbara after playing Katie Ryan on the daytime serial Ryan's Hope during the 1984-85 season.

Campbell used to be married to actor Bernard White, who played Angel on Santa Barbara. Her birthday is March 12.
