SEPTEMBER
3, 1990 (Ep. #1538) Cruz reacts to
a call from a
woman saying she
knows where Ric is
and finally finds
his brother. He's
unaware the
mysterious blond
woman has followed
him. She leaves
upon hearing that
Ric can't identify
his attacker, but
drops a phone
number that Cruz
finds. Alone, the
blond woman
removes her wig to
reveal herself as
Gretchen! Robert
learns from Flame
that her partner's
name is Quinn. He
tries to get to
Flame, playing on
her interest in
poetry. Kelly,
drugged by Flame,
ends up at the
hospital with
"food
poisoning,"
but Quinn knows he
can't delay making
love to her for
much longer. He has Flame
cut a small
incision in his
back so he can
tell Kelly he had
the scar removed.
Mason drops the
charges against
Julia and the
other protesters.
Soon after, Mason
and Julia have a
huge fight about
the Oasis project
and he walks out
on her.
SEPTEMBER
4, 1990 (Ep. #1539) Mason and
Julia confide in
Cassie and Augusta,
respectively,
about the
problems with
their marriage.
Later, Mason
and Julia patch things up.
C.C. watches as
Gina and Phyllis steal
his paintings and
hide them in a
warehouse. Sophia
finds Gina's tape
recorder in
Lionel's hospital
room, which
reveals that Gina
is actually
putting the
originals on
C.C.'s walls. C.C.
also learns
that Lionel plans
to sell the "real"
paintings to his
overseas buyer,
but he doesn't
stop them, telling
Sophia that he
plans to make
Lionel and Gina
suffer. Laken
breaks a date with
Amado to work with
Stephen. But
Stephen cancels
their plans for a
date with Cassie.
Amado gives Laken
the cold shoulder.
SEPTEMBER
5, 1990 (Ep. #1540) Ric recognizes
the phone number
that his attacker
dropped as the
number for Bar
None, which is
owned by Harland
Richards. It's
decided that Ric
should hide in
Mexico, but first
he warns Tawny not
to trust her
father. Cruz searches
Harland's
apartment for
evidence
connecting him
with the protest
bombing. Quinn
tries to cover
when Hunt and
Renfield become
curious about
"Robert's"
connection to
Debra London. Hunt
takes it to mean
that Debra has a
thing for Robert
and grows
suspicious about
her continued
presence in Santa
Barbara. He makes
another date with
Debra. Robert
plays up to Flame
by doubting
her relationship
with Quinn. Flame
learns to her
shock that Quinn
plans on marrying
Kelly for her
money. Gretchen
admits to Mack
that she wishes
Harland were dead.
SEPTEMBER
6, 1990 (Ep. #1541) Mason
and Julia make
serious moves to
save their
marriage. Mason
quits the Oasis
project, handing
it over to C.C.,
and Julia resigns
from the Blues.
Cassie fumes when
she is
fingerprinted for
her driver's
licence, and boils
upon seeing Mason
and Julia's
reconciliation. In
Harland's
apartment, Cruz
finds a damaging
file on his mother,
Carmen, indicating
she was
responsible for
the death of
Richard Atkins a
long time ago. Cruz
confronts his
mother with this
information.
Ric goes to
Mexico. Bunny
is distraught when
Annie is arrested.
SEPTEMBER
7, 1990 (Ep. #1542) Cruz questions
Carmen about
Harland's
incriminating file and
she denies that
she killed Richard
Atkins twenty
years ago. She claims
that she wasn't
close to Atkins,
and Cruz tries to
find out how this
concerns Harland.
C.C. arranges for
Lionel to find the
"real"
paintings Gina has
hidden in the
warehouse, which
he will sell
to the people in
Macao. C.C.
enjoys watching
Lionel set himself
up, yet Sophia is
concerned about
Lionel's fate. Hunt
dates Debra to
find out what she
wants from "Robert."
After the date
ends, Flame is
shocked when Hunt
shows up at her
house. Quinn
surprises Kelly
with a romantic
interlude and says
he had his scar
removed. They make
love. Afterwards, Kelly is
surprised when
"Robert"
proposes to her. Gretchen
tells Mack that she
loves him.
