AUGUST
6, 1990 (Ep. #1518) Julia returns
from Hong Kong
with Mason to find
that Cassie has
organized their
weekly schedule to
every last detail.
Mason's grateful
after Cassie
admits she set up
a dinner to
conflict with
Julia's
environmental
meeting so Julia
couldn't attend.
As Robert, Kelly
and Hunt escape
from the prison on
a freight car,
Kelly remembers
her times on the
El Diablo train
with Robert.
Although she
doesn't say
anything to either
man, Hunt can see
she's in love with
Robert. Flame is
not pleased when
Quinn poses as
Robert at the Lair,
and she later
informs him that
his parents are
dead. Michael and
Nikki celebrate
their engagement
with Amado and
Laken.
Unfortunately,
Amado gets into a
knife fight with a
racist. When the
police don't stop
looking for Annie,
Bunny is sad when
Annie, feeling
like a burden,
leaves him a
farewell note.
AUGUST
7, 1990 (Ep. #1519) After Michael
breaks up Amado's
fight, Cruz has a
brotherly talk
with Amado about
rising above
racial prejudices,
and the two form a
bond. Michael and
Nikki make love
for the first
time. Dash Nichols,
the leader of the
Blue Sky Brigade,
heads an
environmental
protest. Ric is at
the demonstration
and secretly
dictates notes for
Harland Richards
into a tape
recorder. While
Cruz works crowd
control at the
rally, a bomb goes
off and he arrests
Jack Sellers for
causing the
explosion. When
Cruz sees Ric, Ric
claims he's there
for Tawny. Cruz is
suspicious,
however,
especially after
learning that Ric
was seen talking
to Jack Sellers.
Quinn makes a
psychic connection
with his twin,
Robert, when they
each dream of
Kelly. Tired of
the triangle, Hunt
pushes Kelly to
make a decision
between him and
Robert. Later,
they catch a
flight home. Quinn
tricks Flame into
thinking he's
Robert, proving
that he's ready to
take over Robert's
life.
AUGUST
8, 1990 (Ep. #1520) When Dash
Nichols suspects
that Mason was
behind the bombing
at the Blues
rally, Mason is
forced to tell
Julia about his
Capwell Oasis
project. Julia
accuses Mason of
hiding his idea
for the resort
from her, knowing
she's closely
involved with the
bird sanctuary. Gina
fabricates
evidence that
makes Lionel
believe Augusta is
the one who stole
the paintings from
the tunnel. Lionel
confronts
Augusta. Meanwhile,
Augusta reiterates
her objection to
Laken about seeing
Amado. Amado gives
Laken the idea to
move into a room
near his. When
Gretchen gives
Mack mixed signals,
he tries to get
the truth out of
her about her
marriage.
AUGUST
9, 1990 (Ep. #1521)
Soon after
Robert returns
from Argentina,
Quinn and Flame
kidnap him, and
Quinn takes
Robert's place.
Earlier, Kelly
blasts Eden for
keeping Robert's
letter from her.
Eden blames Robert,
but he insists he
loves Kelly.
Lionel and Augusta
have a huge
falling-out when
he accuses her of
stealing the art.
C.C. and Sophia
get into an
argument as well.
After sharing a
bottle of wine,
Lionel and Sophia
find themselves
commiserating and
are drawn to each
other again.
Unfortunately for
them, Gina
covertly snaps
photos of their
lovemaking. Ric
finds a canceled
check to Jack
Sellers from
Harland Richards.
AUGUST
10, 1990 (Ep. #1522) Ric leaves a
vague message on
Cruz's answering
machine about Jack
Sellers. Cassie
sees Ric on the
train ride to a
Blues conference
in Asilomar, but
he disappears
after talking to a
blond woman. Dash
questions Julia's
loyalty when she
misses the
conference, but
Cassie insists the
Capwells are
environmentally
concerned. Mason
assures Julia that
the bird sanctuary
will not be harmed
by the Capwell
Oasis project, but
his story is
contradicted by a
reporter.
Following his
night with Sophia,
Lionel finds a
bead from Gina's
necklace outside
the door and
realizes she's
been there. Eden's
effort to make
peace with Kelly
only makes things
worse. Robert is
furious when Flame
won't give him an
explanation for
his captivity.
Trying to fill
Robert's shoes, Quinn is shocked
when Hunt resigns
from Barr
Industries. Quinn
gets another jolt
when Kelly tells
"Robert"
she can't get him
out of her heart.
