JULY
9, 1990 (Ep. #1498) The Sheik is
holding Cruz
hostage while the
Pasha holds Eden.
When Michael
learns about the
Sheik, he makes
him an offer:
he'll deliver him
the Pasha if the
Sheik will hold
off his attack on
the Pasha's camp.
Meanwhile, the
Pasha demands that
Eden become his
wife, hoping to
lure Cruz back.
Eden notices
Cruz's talisman
around the Pasha's
neck. She knocks
him down and
escapes with the
talisman. Hunt
rejects Gretchen
when she flirts
with him. On
Robert's yacht, he
and Kelly grow
closer after she
rescued him. When
Hunt arrives on
business, Kelly
assures him it's
not what it looks
like. Later, Hunt
invites Kelly to
get out of town
together for a
while. Sophia and
Stephen agree to
hold a press
screening of their
film. Stephen
expresses strong
reservations when
Sophia intends to
tell C.C. about
the screening.
Debra London tries
to get some
footage of the
Capwell mansion
for her
documentary, but
Cassie gets rid of
her. Alone, Debra
removes her wig
and clothing to
reveal a blond
vixen!
JULY
10, 1990 (Ep. #1499) Annie, having
escaped from the
police, turns to
Bunny for help. He
agrees to hide
her. Later, however,
he's
mortified to see
that a disguised
Annie is waiting
tables at the Lair.
Derek persuades
Ethan to get him
out of jail. Soon
after, Ethan sees
Laura for the last
time as she's back
in prison. He says
goodbye. An
interior designer
arrives at Mason
and Julia's to
renovate the
house, courtesy of
Augusta. Mason is
distracted from
working on his
novel and spends
some time at the
Capwell house,
where he has a
talk with
Cassie.
Lionel and Augusta
are pressured to
support an
environmental
group that wants
to save a bird
sanctuary, and Julia
agrees to
represent them.
Phyllis is sworn
to secrecy when
she realizes
Gina's faking her
blindness. Gina enlists
her mother's help
with her plan, which
involves using
Gina's laundry as
a front.
JULY
11, 1990 (Ep. #1500) The
renovating at his
house distracts
Mason from writing
his novel. He
can't help feeling
tempted when C.C.
suggests that they
start working
together again.
Hunt invites Kelly
to go sailing with
him, which doesn't
sit too well with
neither C.C. nor
Robert. Prior to
the trip, Kelly
unwittingly
obtains the letter
Robert sent to
Eden that
professes his love
for Kelly. Debra
continues her
interview with
Robert and asks
him about his
private life, but
he's reluctant to
talk about the
past. Alone, Debra
orders a duplicate
of Robert's
wardrobe. Despite
Stephen's
concerns, Sophia
invites C.C. to
the screening of
the film. This
only leads to an
argument, but
later Cassie tries
to get C.C. to
soften.
JULY
12, 1990 (Ep. #1501) Despite
Julia's
reservations, Mason decides
to work with his
father again
instead of writing
his novel.
Determined to get
Cruz back, Eden
refuses to tell
the Pasha where
she hid the
talisman. She
insists the
talisman can't
prevent an
onslaught from the
Sheik, but she can
if he accepts her
proposal of a
worldwide
broadcast that
will bring
sympathy to the
Pasha's plight.
Michael sneaks
back into the
Pasha's tent and
informs Eden that
the Sheik has
abducted Cruz.
Eden urges the
Pasha to consider
the offer she
made. Augusta is
jealous when she
notices Lionel
talking to Sophia
just like old
times. As a way of
getting on C.C.'s
good side, Lionel
goes to him with a
great art deal.
C.C. accepts the
offer, and
Lionel's plan to
find the paintings
is put
into action.
Although C.C.
finally agrees to
go to the film
screening, he
insists to Sophia
that he will stop
the film's
release, if
necessary.
JULY
13, 1990 (Ep. #1502) Eden tries
to persuade the
Pasha to accept
her offer of a
broadcast that
will attract
support against
the Sheik.
Impressed by
Eden's love for
Cruz, the Pasha
finally agrees.
Kelly secretly
dreams of Robert
while she's on the
boat trip with
Hunt. Hunt is
stunned when he
finds Robert's
letter to Eden,
and realizes that
Robert has loved
Kelly all along.
Debra probes into
Robert's personal
life, but he
refuses to discuss
it. Debra observes
a dispute between
Robert and C.C.
Capwell. When
Debra later takes
off her disguise,
she's called Flame
by a mystery man.
She shows him
video footage of
Robert. C.C. loans
Stephen the master
print of his film,
while Sophia and
Cassie prepare for
the screening. But
when Stephen goes
to retrieve the
print from his
locker, it's gone.
