claiming that she has important information about
their father's murder. She doesn't tell Lionel
that she's going through with her plan to expose
the murderer and pretends to agree when he says
it's too dangerous. Later, at the Oasis, Gina gets the
ball rolling by trying to set brother against
brother. The Taksan sons realize what's going on
and, in turn, poison her soup! Lionel, who's
disguised as a waiter, knocks the spoon from
Gina's hand before she can have a taste. Boswell
is there to arrest the Taksans.
Reese tells Jodie that he's setting her free to
be with Cruz. Jodie doesn't understand until Reese scolds her for lying
about being with Cruz the other night. He doesn't
trust her anymore and says their marriage is over. He then
makes her leave.
Frank visits B.J. at the newspaper office and begs
her to come home. She's adamant in her refusal, so
he lays a guilt trip on her by suggesting that her
leaving may cause a major rift between her parents.
Later, at the shed, Sawyer punches Reese for
throwing Jodie out. B.J. witnesses this and is
unable to get her father to talk to her. She's
upset and turns to Cruz for help to get her family
back together. Sawyer finds Jodie at the police
station and comforts his mother, who fears that her relationship with
Reese is irreparable.
