to see Kelly lying
at the foot of the
stairs, with Eden
standing over her.
Later, at the
hospital, Kelly
realizes she can't
move her legs.
From her hiding
place, Flame
watches as Cruz
finds evidence of
a trip wire (which
Flame used to trip
Kelly). Julia
tears into Mason
for causing an
accident with
Samantha. When
Julia finds
lipstick on
Mason's shirt,
which Cassie had
planted earlier,
Cassie knows her
plan to make Julia
believe there's
something between
her and Mason is
working. Julia
kicks Mason out of
the house, saying
his drinking is
destroying the
family. In Mexico,
as Gina anxiously
awaits Keith's
emergence from the
restroom, Brandon
checks it out.
Although Keith is
gone, he finds a
key and realizes
it's a clue. Gina
finds another key,
left behind by
Keith, in a bus
station locker.
OCTOBER
30, 1990

Now that Amado
is Minx's
chauffeur, she
orders him around,
which infuriates
Laken. Minx
assures Laken that
one day she'll see
Amado's not right
for her because of
their
socioeconomic
differences. Laken
insists she'll
never give Amado
up. Against Minx's
wishes, Lionel
forges ahead with
a plan to market
their spring water
as an upscale
brand. Gina and
Brandon find yet
another key that
Keith left behind,
this time in a
Nevada motel room.
Michael shows
Harland's
confession to Dash.
Dash tells Julia
that Rialto
dropped the case
against him, but
they agree their
work isn't done
yet. Mason informs
Cassie that Julia
threw him out.
When Mason calls
Julia from his
hotel room, Cassie
makes sure that
Julia hears her
voice. Suspicious
of Cassie, Stephen
hires a private
investigator to
delve into her
past in Macao.
OCTOBER
31, 1990

Quinn catches
Flame and realizes
she tried to kill
Kelly. While Kelly
lies paralyzed in
the hospital, Cruz
tells Eden about
finding evidence
of a trip wire at
Quinn's house. For
her part, Eden
suspects Debra.
Cruz and Eden
decide not to tell
anyone that Eden
saw "Robert"
kissing Debra,
especially since
Kelly still blames
Eden for her fall.
Later, Cruz and
Eden plant a
codicil for "Robert"
to find that says
if Kelly dies in
the next five
years, her husband
will get nothing.
Cruz watches as
Quinn takes the
bait and reads the
fake codicil. At
the same time,
Kelly is
distraught after
learning she may
never walk again.
Lionel asks
Maxwell about his
intentions towards
Minx. Bad news
comes when Minx
informs Lionel
that half of the
spring runs under
Capwell land.
NOVEMBER
1, 1990

After the doctor
admits that
Kelly's paralysis
may be permanent,
she blames Eden
and tears into her
sister. Later,
Kelly freaks out
when she gets a
wheelchair. Quinn
reads the fake
codicil (planted
by Cruz) and tells
Flame that if
Kelly dies, he'll
get nothing. Flame
leads Quinn to
believe she's gone
back to New
Orleans, but
really plans to
stay in town. A
drunk Mason causes
a scene at Julia's
house in front of
Dash. Mason
finally resolves
to clean himself
up.
NOVEMBER
2, 1990
(Ep. #1582) Cruz gets a
file on Debra's
past and discovers
she ran several
cons while living
in England. He's
stunned to learn
that one of
Debra's
accomplices was a
guy named Quinn.
After much
reluctance, Kelly
gets into her
wheelchair and is
released from the
hospital. Flame
learns that Quinn
could probably get
power of attorney
over Kelly's money
if she were proved
mentally
incompetent. Flame
plans to gaslight
Kelly and arranges
for her to see
Eden's nightgown.
In New Orleans,
Craig learns
Debra's real name
and gets knocked
out by Sheriff Roy
while talking on
the phone to Cruz.
Ric finally tells
Tawny that Harland
is his father, too,
which makes them
half-brother and
half-sister.
Devastated, Tawny
runs out. Ric
leaves town. Gina
and Brandon's
search for Keith
leads them to The
Key Club. Gina
goes there alone
and encounters a
man named Boots,
who demands that
she take him to
Keith.
