JANUARY 29, 1990 (Ep. #1385)
Nikki tells Cruz that Travis was ordered by the boss himself to steal Dark Victor. Cruz insists that Nikki wear a wire when she goes with Travis to meet the boss. Travis tells Nikki they're taking the horse to a cabin in the mountains, but Nikki mouths silently to Travis about the wire before he can give any other details. After Derek takes blankets from the Capwell Hotel, intending to give them to the homeless, Mason accuses Derek of being a thief. Since Mason also suspects Derek's after Julia, he reports him to the police. When Derek refuses to return the blankets, he's arrested. Furious at Mason, Julia protests Derek's arrest and is also detained. Mason locks himself in the cell with Julia, unsuccessfully using her incarceration as a means to win her back.

JANUARY 30, 1990 (Ep. #1386)
Cruz follows Travis and Nikki to a motel room near the mountains. When Travis surprises Nikki by abruptly "finding" the wire, a worried Cruz races for the room. Travis is about to ambush Cruz when Nikki knocks him out. Cruz forces him to confess the location of the mountain cabin. After a trooper arrives to take Travis away, Cruz and Nikki burst into the empty cabin. They assume Travis was able to trip the big boss off. Suddenly, there's an avalanche, trapping them in the cabin for the night. Laura's running out of time to keep Ethan from realizing she's been lying about her pregnancy. She wonders who she can get to impregnate her and thinks of Michael. She breaks down in front of him, insisting it's over between her and Ethan. Michael can't help feeling moved. After Derek assures Mason he has no designs on Julia, Mason drops all the charges. Moved by a transient, Mason gives him a coat, unaware that Julia has witnessed his act of generosity.

JANUARY 31, 1990 (Ep. #1387)
Mason's plan to get rid of Sasha backfires when Hunt discovers that Mason is Sasha's silent partner. Hunt almost catches Kelly and Ric doing some sleuthing on the gambling boat, but Mason manages to create a diversion. Robert gives Kelly a diamond necklace, and Ric sees them kissing. Later, Robert fires Ric. After Eden learns that the police found Cruz's car buried under snow, she races to the avalanche site with C.C. and Greg. Nikki tells Cruz she'll be returning to Mexico soon and tries to give him a farewell kiss just as Eden looks in the window. Eden assumes the worst and goes away undetected. Augusta gets Dark Victor back.

FEBRUARY 1, 1990 (Ep. #1388)
Outside the mountain cabin, Eden leaves after getting the wrong impression about Cruz and Nikki. Cruz gets a feeling that Eden was there and is then confronted by C.C. Cruz explains to him that Nikki is a cop and that their relationship is purely professional. C.C. tells Eden the news. Later, Cruz and Eden each go to the charity benefit and start dancing together. At the auction for Dark Victor, Augusta allows Robert and C.C. to outbid each other, until C.C. bids two million dollars, then she stops the bidding. C.C. presents this gift to Kelly, who is furious he outbid Robert. Kelly is stunned to discover that her brother Mason is also involved in Hunt's illegal operation. Since Robert's planning to blow the whistle on the operation, Kelly tells Mason she knows about everything. 

FEBRUARY 2, 1990 (Ep. #1389)
Cruz and Eden share a dance at the benefit and come closer to reuniting. But later, Eden catches Nikki in Cruz's bed. Kelly warns Mason that Robert is arranging for a raid on the casino boat. Robert covertly gives Cruz the information for the bust. While Mason and Sasha race for the boat, hoping to retrieve the deed with their names on it, Kelly tells Robert about Mason's involvement. Since Robert has already tipped off Cruz, he warns Hunt about the raid and urges him to sail the casino boat away. Instead, Hunt orders his henchman to put dynamite on the boat. The henchman reports that everything is set, but Mason and Sasha are on board. Robert fights Hunt for the detonator. C.C. tells Augusta he knows she drove up the bidding skyhigh as revenge against him for his treatment of Lionel. Laura tries to drag Michael into her problems with Ethan and Gina. Seizing the moment, she kisses Michael.
