JANUARY
2, 1990 (Ep. #1367) Julia can't
forgive Mason for
his infidelity and
refuses to talk to
him. With Bunny's
help, Mason tricks
Julia into flying
away with him.
Mason and Julia
are forced to
parachute from the
plane when the
engines fail, and
land safely in the
mountains. Cruz
gets a call that
Nikki can be
released. He's
suspicious when
she claims to be
broke, though he
finds
hundred-dollar
bills in her purse.
To keep an eye on
the girl, he has
Rafael hire her as
his assistant.
Kelly promotes
herself to vice
president of Barr
Industries. The
first crooked
organization she
wants to tackle is
the Tonell Stables.
She disobeys
Robert's orders to
back off and
visits the stable,
where she's drawn
to a beautiful
horse named Dark
Victor and the
stable manager is
Travis, Nikki's
ex-boyfriend.
Robert and C.C.
sign the documents
making C.C. once
again the owner of
Capwell
Enterprises.
JANUARY
3, 1990 (Ep. #1368) Stuck in the
mountains, Mason
and Julia have
plenty to talk
about. Mason
confesses that he
slept with Sasha
because he was too
weak to resist. He
compares his
infidelity to his
drinking and says
there's no fun in
compulsion. They
struggle to
survive the
freezing night,
but the cold is
too much for Julia.
Robert and Kelly
are suspicious
when Dark Victor
is moved from the
stable for a late
entry at Santa
Anita. Nikki and
Kelly are each
upset to learn
that Eden is
coming home. Laura
manipulates Ethan
with the blackmail
scheme, but later
overhears Ethan
and Gina confess
their love for
each other.
Meanwhile, Mack is
concerned about
Laura and she
intimates that
Gina is the
blackmailer.
JANUARY
4, 1990 (Ep. #1369) Cruz rescues
Mason and Julia.
When Sasha appears
at the hospital
concerned for
Mason, Sophia and
Augusta order her
to get out. She
doesn't leave
until Mason sees
her and tells her
to go. Julia
recovers and
refuses to forgive
Mason for his
infidelity. She
was able to excuse
his alcoholism,
but not his lack
of control over
his desires. At
Santa Anita, Kelly
learns that Dark
Victor should be a
winner, yet he
always loses at
the racetrack.
Eden comes home
and tells Cruz she
needs time alone.
Cruz is frustrated
because Eden is
avoiding choosing.
Robert also
responds bitterly
and accuses Eden
of stalling. Cruz
breaks into
Nikki's bus locker
and is curious
when he finds a
notebook with
locations and
dates.
JANUARY
5, 1990 (Ep. #1370) Mason moves
into a room at the
Capwell Hotel. At
the Lair, he holds
a wake for his
marriage and
Julia's shocked to
see that he's
returned to the
bottle. Michael
comforts Julia
over her
separation from
Mason. Sasha
takes a drunk
Mason back to his
room, but doesn't
take advantage of
the situation.
C.C. blames
himself for
letting the family
fall apart and
tries to tempt
Sophia into moving
back in. Rafael
warns Cruz of
Nikki's growing
attraction for him.
To find out what
the girl is up to, Cruz accepts a
date with her and they
end up kissing. In
an attempt to
rebuild her life,
Eden wants to get
her job at the
television station
back.
