When
Ken's death is
confirmed by
Connor, Andi
pretends to be
heartbroken and
claims that he
must have had a
heart attack.
Connor suspects
foul play.
Although he
"accidentally"
knocks Andi's
purse off his
desk, he fails
to find anything
incriminating.
Believing that
Ken was poisoned,
Connor orders a
thorough autopsy
and calls Micah
for his expert
advice.
Following
Ken's death,
Reese comforts
Andi and takes
her home. When
he finds an
airline ticket,
she claims that
she went to Switzerland for
a few days to
check out a spa. She
also tells Reese
that she loves
him, only to
learn that he
still feels
married.
Although Andi
reacts with
patience to this
revelation, she
believes he's
going to love
her when there's
no Jodie.
C.C.'s
deep love for
Sophia is
evident when he
returns to the
hospital and
remembers old
feelings. After
learning from
Connor that Ken
is dead, C.C.
breaks the news
to a devastated
Sophia. He then
supports her
when she says
goodbye to Ken's
body.
Jodie
and Micah are
caught in a
compromising
position by
their children.
The two are
forced to deal
with Sawyer's
disapproval, but
Aurora is more
understanding.

Rafe
is
disappointed
when
Lilly
refuses
to
run
away
with
him.

JANUARY
12, 1993 (Ep.
#2134)Warren
and B.J. hole up
at the hotel in
Laguna to write.
They learn of an
auction of
Hollywood
memorabilia, and
B.J. falls in
love with a
wedding gown
that was worn by
a former starlet.
When Warren
suffers from a
writer's block,
he goes out for
a walk. He
reappears with
the dress and
tells B.J. that
he wants to
marry her in it
tomorrow. She
happily agrees.
When
Ted and Lilly
return from
their honeymoon,
Gina gives her
daughter a blue
couch as a
symbol of
security. Ted
finds a letter
waiting for
Lilly from Rafe
and reads it.
The letter asks Lilly to
meet Rafe at 4
PM on the beach
so they can run
off together!
After Ted hands
Lilly the letter,
she reads it in
Gina's presence
and is torn.
Later, both Ted
and Gina are
nervous when
Lilly is gone.
To their relief,
she returns to
Ted after saying
goodbye to Rafe.
Rafe
leaves a
desperate Lisa
and is thrilled
when Lilly shows
up at the beach.
His happiness is
short-lived,
however, as
Lilly tells Rafe
that Ted is her
life now. After assuring
Rafe that he's
going to find his
soulmate, Lilly
says goodbye to
her old love.
Rafe leaves town
alone.
Julia
tries to get
Mason to
consider
adopting
Gracie's baby,
but Mason is
adamant in his
refusal. They
eventually
discuss the
matter as
lawyers and
decide against
the adoption.

Sophia
and
C.C.
are
drawn
to
each
other
again.

JANUARY
13, 1993 (Ep. #2135)
Ken's
autopsy report
says he died of
a stroke, not a
heart attack.
Connor is very
suspicious and
heads over to
the hospital for
a chat with
Micah. He soon
learns that
Analanthin (a
drug from Switzerland) can
disguise itself
in the body,
completely
undetectable, and
would cause a
stroke-like
death once it's
put in a drink.
Later, Connor
has Ken's tea
bag tested and
finds signs of
Analanthin.
Andi
pampers Reese
with dinner and
suggests the two
of them take a
vacation to get
away from Jodie.
Before long,
Reese sees
another side of
Andi when he
catches her in a
lie about her
Switzerland
trip. He breaks
up with her,
causing her to
totally flip
out. Reese tells
Connor what
happened and
when they find
Andi's condo
completely
trashed, Reese
worries about
Jodie.
C.C.
picks up Sophia
from the
hospital and
brings her to
his house to
recuperate. When
Angela catches
wind of this,
Gina warns her
that C.C. will
never love any
woman as much as
he does Sophia.
Angela gives
C.C. his walking
papers, but it's
a friendly
parting. As for
Gina, a dream
prompts her to
change her
outlook.
When
Giovanni
convinces a
miserable Lisa
to give herself
a second chance,
Micah is
impressed with
his son. Jodie
plans to
surprise Micah
with a romantic
dinner at his
house, but is
caught off-guard
when Andi shows
up. Determined
to get Jodie out
of the way, Andi
invites her to
have a cup of
tea.

To
Micah's
chagrin,
Reese
places
Jodie
in
protective
custody.

JANUARY
14, 1993 (Ep. #2136)
As
Jodie passes on
the tea with
Andi, she learns
that Micah is
running late.
Andi is about to
poison Jodie's
food when Reese
arrives, but she
escapes before
he can catch
her. Micah comes
home moments
later. Reese
fills Jodie in
on the Andi
situation and
places her in
his protective
custody. Plans
are changed,
however, when
they receive
word of B.J.'s
wedding tomorrow
and prepare to
go to Laguna.
After everyone's
gone, Andi
sneaks back into
the house. She
finds the name
of the hotel in
Laguna and plans
to be there.
B.J.
has some
residual fears
of Frank on the
night before her
wedding and
insists that
Warren sleep on
the floor of
their hotel
room. She
finally defeats
Frank in a
spiritual battle,
symbolizing her
victory over her
past.
Immediately
afterwards, on
her initiative,
B.J. and Warren
start to make
love.
Connor
visits Kelly at
the Capwell
mansion and
risks losing her
by giving her
Cruz's phone
number. In the
end, Kelly burns
it and it looks
like she's
finally over
Cruz. She and
Connor kiss.
Meanwhile,
feeling like a
terrible person,
Gina tells
Lionel that she
wants to divorce
him for his
sake. He changes her
mind by
reaffirming his
love for her.

In
the
show's
finale,
Warren
and
B.J.'s
wedding
is
celebrated.

JANUARY
15, 1993 (Ep. #2137)
It's
B.J. and
Warren's wedding
day, and all of
Santa Barbara
has come to help
them celebrate.
B.J. assures
Warren that she
doesn't regret
not waiting, and
he ends up being
the one with
pre-wedding
jitters. As the
ceremony begins,
Reese walks B.J.
down the aisle
and Warren
freezes when the
time comes to
exchange wedding
vows with his
bride.
Fortunately,
Lionel gets him
to snap out of
it. The rest of
the wedding goes
off without a
hitch.
Mason
and Julia are at
the Capwell
mansion, Julia
reading the
instructions of
a pregnancy test
and Mason
avoiding Gracie.
Following a
heart-to-heart
with Julia about
her baby, Gracie
suddenly goes
into labor!
Mason and Julia
are forced to
help deliver the
baby, and Mason
ends up fainting.
Later, when
Samantha asks
her parents to
adopt Gracie's
baby, Mason and
Julia can't
bring themselves
to refuse. As
Mason has a
fatherly chat
with the baby (it's
a boy), Julia
gets him to arm
wrestle with
her. She wins
the game by
revealing that
she's pregnant,
and the two
happily kiss.
Sophia
finds C.C. throwing a coin
into the
fountain and
ready to give up. She
makes the
difference by
wanting to be
his wife again,
and they happily
reunite in an
embrace. Reese
tells Jodie that
he wants her
back. Although
she has some
reservations at
first, the two
get back on
track before
long. It's a day
of love for the
other couples as
well, including
Gina and Lionel,
Sawyer and
Aurora, Ted and
Lilly and Connor
and Kelly.
Disguised
as a maid, Andi
appears on the
balcony with a
high-powered
rifle. She takes
aim at Jodie,
but Connor spots
and catches Andi
before she can
fire. Lionel
makes a final
toast at the
wedding
reception and
all the couples
dance before the
closing credits
appear.
